Master of Science (M.S.) in Intelligence Studies

The multi-disciplinary program M.S. in Intelligence Studies aims to develop information and strategy professionals for the 21st Century.  The goal is to bridge the gap between traditional professional programs in Library and Information Science and technically focused programs in Management Information Systems and Computer Science.  The STEM-infused curriculum will develop competencies and skill sets that are in high-demand by public and private sector employers, yet not currently offered in a single master’s program at USF or elsewhere in the state.    Graduates will be trained as strategists and problems-solvers who are capable of developing and evaluating new knowledge; generating and analyzing courses of action; expressing clearly reasoned opinions; and communicating effectively in writing, oral presentation, and visual display.
